Man killed in drive-by shooting in Jackson
JACKSON (AP) — Authorities say a drive-by shooting on an interstate in Mississippi has left one man dead.
Officers found the body of 21-year-old Malik McIntee behind the wheel of a stalled, bullet-riddled car on Interstate 220 after they were called around 1 a.m. Monday.
Jackson police Commander Tyree Jones told WAPT-TV that police believe an unknown suspect or suspects fired several shots at McIntee’s vehicle from another moving car.
An investigation is ongoing. Further details have not been released.
