Summit man killed in one-vehicle crash
A Summit man was killed in a one-vehicle crash on Hwy. 48 in Pike County Tuesday.
Gary Ludwig, 70, was traveling southeast on Hwy. 48 near New Home Road, said Cpl. Brandon Fortenberry with the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
The man was driving a 1992 Nissan car about 4:24 p.m. when the vehicle left the road and hit a tree. Ludwig was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead on the scene, Fortenberry said.
The crash remains under investigation by MHP.
