Coast man sentenced in killing that happened during go-cart sale

GULFPORT (AP) — A man has pleaded guilty to a killing that took place during the sale of a go-cart.
Local news outlets report that 21-year-old Alexander Joseph Dedeaux Jr. pleaded guilty to second-degree murder Monday in the 2015 shooting death of 20-year-old Bruce Robinson Jr. of Pass Christian.
Circuit Judge Larry Bourgeois sentenced Dedeaux to 40 years in prison, with 20 years suspended.
Police said Robinson died after being shot seven times while he tried to sell a go-cart.
