Funeral services for Keith Brothern Sr., of Brookhaven, are Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Della Green Missionary Baptist Church. Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Brothern, 46, died Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2017, at Merit Health Central in Jackson. He was born May 31, 1971, to Ralph Herman Banks and Lorraine Brothern Banks. He enjoyed baseball, fishing and hunting.

Preceding him in death were his uncle, Joe Banks Jr.; grandmothers, Clemetine Banks and Beulah Mae Evans; grandfathers, Joe Banks Sr. and John Pendelton; and his great-grandmother, Queen Ester Brothern; and great-grandfather, Dempsey Brothern.

Survivors are his parents; wife, Rosevette Brothern; son, Keith Brothern Jr.; daughter, Makia Brothern; brothers, Kevin Brothern, Kenneth Brothern, Ralph Brothern, Joshua Banks, Anthony Brothern; sister, Katina Burns; and two grandchildren, Zaquenveyon Brown and Ke’shawn Brothern.
