BA dominates Clinton Christian 34-6

Brookhaven Academy was on the road this week at Clinton Christian Academy to face the Warriors and came away with the 34-6 victory.
Halfway through the first quarter, junior wide receiver Cade Brown caught a touchdown pass on the first play from scrimmage started the night off 6-0. Three play minutes later, Flowers completed to Brown again and BA was up 14-0.
Keeping the momentum going into the second quarter, Flowers completed to senior fullback Ethan Nations from nine yards out for another TD. A two-point conversion attempt failed, and BA led 20-0 into the half.
As the third quarter got underway, Flowers completed a screen pass to senior running back Logan Murray who ran the ball 35 yards for another Cougar touchdown. Toward the end of the quarter, Flowers again found a wide receiver in the end zone in senior Tate Felder and the Cougars were up 34-0 on Flowers’ fifth TD pass.
Folder intercepted a Clinton pass and the Cougars ran into the final quarter with an unreachable lead and BA held on 34-6.
