Autopsy confirms that 3-year-old boy drowned
LUCEDALE (AP) — An autopsy of a 3-year-old boy who was reported missing in Mississippi shows that he died from drowning.
The Sun Herald reports an autopsy that was completed Tuesday shows that the child died from drowning. The child’s body was found in a pond near the family’s Lucedale home early Monday shortly after his parents reported him missing in the pre-dawn hours. The child’s name has not been released.
George County Sheriff Keith Havard says investigators have no reason to believe that foul play was involved and asked the community to pray for the boy’s family.
