Wilfredo and Regina Pacardo Sabitero announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Wilma Sabitero of Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates, to William W. Turnbo of Wesson.

He is the son of the late William H. and Mildred Turnbo.

The bride-elect is granddaughter of Teofista Sabitero, the late Eugenio Sabitero, and the late Luis and Santa Pacardo. She was born in a small village in Bugnay Barotac Viejo, Iloilo City, Philippines.

Miss Sabitero is a graduate of Barotac Viejo National High School.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Elliot and Janie McCardle and the late W.R. and Mellie Turnbo.

Mr. Turnbo is a graduate of Wesson High School and Panhandle State University.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, at 3 p.m. at Wesson Presbyterian Church.
