Family, church and community were most important to her. She was a lifelong member of Sweetwater Methodist Church, where she taught adult Sunday School faithfully. She was the organizer, the spokesperson and the “go to” person when something needed to be done at the church. She was also an active member of the Barlow Methodist Women’s Group and the adult Bible Study at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her beloved sister, Betty Kathren Smith Butler.

Survivors are her husband of 53 years, Ronny Watts; sons, Brad Watts and wife Wendy, of Wesson, and Blake Watts and wife Christina, of Wesson; sister, Bobby June Smith Jones, of Hazlehurst; four of her greatest joys in her life, her grandchildren, Will and Whitney Watts, and Avery Anna and Collin Watts; nephews, Vann Jones and wife Robbin, Craig Jones and wife Melissa and Neill Jones and their families; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Van Jones, Craig Jones, Neill Jones, Marty Jones and Micah Jones.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jenny Jo Pepper and the staff of Hospice Ministries.
