Funeral services for Jesse Kaye Alexander, of Bogue Chitto, are Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven with burial at Montgomery Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, from 5 until 8 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mr. Alexander, 68, died Monday, Sept. 11, 2017, at his residence. He was born May 7, 1949, in McComb, to Caytes and Estelle Alexander. He served his country in the United States Army, retiring as an E8 master sergeant. He was a member of Montgomery Baptist Church. His favorite pastime activities included fishing, traveling and watching Saints football but his passion was his family. During his 20-plus years of service to his country, he traveled worldwide.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers and sisters-in-law, Harry and Edna Alexander, McClaine and Bobbie Alexander and Jimmy and Louise Alexander.

Survivors are his wife, Carol Ann Whittington Alexander; son, Cory Whittington and wife Tiffany, of Bogue Chitto; daughters, Maela Badon and husband Mickey, of McComb, Rita Alexander and Mandy Sykes, both of Bogue Chitto; six grandchildren, Jacee Palmer, Katelynn Palmer, Jeremy Whittington, JayAnna Whittington, Zayne Badon and Laci Sykes; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
