Funeral services for Daniel Jared Huckaby, of Brookhaven, will be on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Red Star Ward) in Brookhaven with burial in the Red Star Cemetery in Brookhaven. Bishop Bruce Britt and Bro. Jimmy Sones will be officiate. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017, from 9 until 11 a.m. be at the church.

Mr. Huckaby, 24, died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017. He was born Aug. 15, 1993, in Brookhaven to Larry and Susan Bills Huckaby. He enjoyed

riding and working on his truck as well as spending time with his family. He was a loving and dedicated father, son, brother, and uncle. He had a fun-loving personality and a goofy smile that could be seen for miles.

Preceding him in death was his father, Larry Huckaby.

Survivors are his mother; brothers, Mitch Huckaby and wife

Jen of Petal, and Brice Huckaby of Brookhaven; sister, Miranda Boyte of

Bossier City, Louisiana; daughter, MaKynzie Brooke Huckaby of Brookhaven; and one niece, five nephews and many cousins.
