Funeral services for Naomi T. Gatlin, of Bogue Chitto, are Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017, at 3 p.m. at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home in McComb with burial at Moak’s Creek cemetery. Rev. David Atwood will officiate the service.

Visitation will be Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017, from 1 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Gatlin, 88, died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017, at her residence. She was born Oct. 30, 1928, in Trenton, New Jersey, to Wilmer R. Tomlinson and Grace Housel Tomlinson.  She worked as a teacher in the McComb, and Florida school systems.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walton E. Gatlin; brother, Norman W. Tomlinson; and daughter-in-law, Connie Gatlin.

Survivors are her sons; Paul L. Gatlin, of Bogue Chitto, and John W. Gatlin, of Sumrall; daughter and son-in-law, Betty G. Atwood and David, of Sumrall; three grandchildren, Eric Cutrer, of Lithia Springs, Georgia, Jill Gray, of Seminary, and Ronnie Ballard; great-grandchildren, Madelyn Gray, Angel Cutrer, Kaci Cutrer and Alana Cutrer; stepgrandchildren and great-grandchildren; a devoted friend, Elizabeth, and her beloved dog, Gigi.

Memorial donations in Mrs. Naomi Gatlin’s name may be made to the American Heart Association.
