Graveside service for Ouida M. “Barbara” Felder, of Brookhaven, will be today, Sept. 23, 2017, at 3:30 p.m. at Felders Campground Cemetery. Bro. Bradley White and Rev. Michael Evans officiated the service.

Visitation will be held today, Sept. 23, 2017, from 2 until 3 p.m. at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home in McComb.

Ms. Felder, 81, died Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017, at Diversicare Center in Brookhaven. She was born July 3, 1935. She was the daughter of the late Hugh Robert Felder Sr., and Laurie Helen Terry Felder.

She was a member of Felder U.M.C and enjoyed the yearly camp meetings. She lived 14 years at the Boswell Group Home in Wesson, the last eight years at Diversicare Nursing Home in Brookhaven. She was best known for her big smile, her attention-seeking personality and her love for her family. She was a true joy to everyone who met her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Hugh Robert “Bud” Felder Jr.

Survivors are two brothers, Carl Ray Felder (Bobbie), of Felders Campground and John Henry Felder (Sarah), of the Phillipines; three nephews, Ben Felder (Karen), Jody Felder and Chris Felder; two nieces, Carla F. Byrd (Kevin) and Margaret Felder; three great-nephews, Nic Felder, Will Byrd and Matt Byrd and two great-nieces, Haley Felder and Alexis “Sissy” Bryd.

Honorary pallbearers were Ben Felder, Kevin Byrd, Will Byrd, Matt Byrd, Nic Felder and Jody Felder.
