3 killed in trailer explosion in identified
LAUREL (AP) — The three people who were killed in an explosion in Jasper County have been identified.
WDAM-TV reports the Jasper County Coroner’s Office on Tuesday identified the victims as Robby Russell, his wife Betty, and his mother Laura.
The explosion, which injured two others, occurred Monday afternoon. Family on the scene said a 12-year-old girl and her 33-year-old mother, both of whom are related to the deceased victims, suffered third to fourth degree burns in the accident.
Sheriff Randy Johnson says an adult was apparently working on a propane heater when it exploded.
