Funeral services for Dorothy Martin Givens Hill, of Tilton, are today, Sept. 30, 2017, at 3 p.m. at Sauls Valley Baptist Church in Tilton with burial at Sauls Valley Cemetery.  Bro. Winston Fortenberry and Bro. Archie Herrin will officiate the services. Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello is in charge of arrangements. 

Visitation was held Friday, Sept. 29, 2017, from 5 until 10 p.m. at Sauls Valley Baptist Church.

Mrs. Givens, 73, died Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017, at her residence. She was born Oct. 9, 1943, to Wilburn and Mildred Greene Martin. She worked for 20 years as a nurse at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb. She loved to serve others and worked in the mission field both at home and abroad. She was a faithful member of Sauls Valley Baptist Church and will be missed by her church family and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Billy Ford Givens; and brother, Glenn Martin.

Survivors are her is her husband Tommie Hill, of Jayess; daughter, Barbara Ann Dixon (Noah) of Dacula Georgia and Monticello; son, Billy Michael Givens (Judy) of BallGround, Georgia; daughter, Mary Hazel Hill of Monticello; sons, Fred Allen Hill of Fort Gordon, Georgia, James Dean Hill and Tommie Hill of Alabama; daughters, Connie Cutrer and Wendy Hill, of Alabama; brothers, Wilburn Martin Jr. (Donna) of Sontag, and Terry Dewayne Martin, of Monticello; sisters, Inez Shows (Michael) of Ocean Springs, and Sue Cuevas (Robert), of Gulfport; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and her caretaker and friend, Veronica Holmes Howell.
