The region leading Brookhaven Panthers (6-1, 3-0) easily handled the Forest Hill Patriots (1-6, 0-1) 45-6 on Friday night at Forest Hill.

Brookhaven led 45-0 at halftime and would rest their starters during the second half and allow their younger players to gain experience.

“We were sharp on both sides of the ball for most of the night,” said Brookhaven head coach Tommy Clopton. “We had an opportunity to get everyone in during the second half and it was good for those guys that work hard every week on our scout teams,” said Clopton. “We’re glad to be 3-0 in the division and looking forward to being back home for homecoming next week.”
