Two timber bridges in Lincoln County have been fully closed to traffic this week and two more were partially closed following federally-mandated inspections, said County Engineer Ryan Holmes.
Bridge No. 228 on Pioneer Lane over Lick Creek has been closed, while another bridge on Pioneer Lane, No. 233, is down to one lane.
Bridge No. 223 on Harvey Drive NW over Hurricane Creek has one lane closed and Bridge No. 227 on Bouie Mill Road NW over Cedar Creek will be required to close in 45 days if significant repairs are not made, Holmes said.
He expects at least 15 more inspections of timber bridges in the county next week.
