Randy and Cheryl Freeman announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter Jaime Walker of McComb to Garrett May of Brookhaven.

He is the son of Thomas May and Lora Hedgepeth.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Betty Walker.

She is a 2001 graduate of Natchez High School and a 2008 graduate of Mississippi State University with a degree in agriculture and life science. She is employed by C-Spire.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Amy and Carroll Ratcliff, and the late Aline and Thomas May.

He is a 2003 graduate of Enterprise Attendance Center and a 2010 graduate of Mississippi State University with a degree in fine art. He is employed by C-Spire.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017, at 7 p.m. at the Lincoln Civic Center. A reception will follow.
