Funeral services for Dudley Eugene Pete Allen, of Brookhaven, are Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Mt. Olive Church of Christ with burial at the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017, from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Mr. Allen, 83, died Monday, Oct. 9, 2017, at Silver Cross Nursing Home in Brookhaven. He was born July 2, 1934, to Jim Allen and Grace Smith Allen. He was a retired truck driver and a member of Mt. Olive Church of Christ.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his brother, L.J. Allen.

Survivors are his sisters, Elaine Black and her late husbands, Ronald Vidrine and Cloy Black, Nancy Landry and husband Wayne, all of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; nephews, Steve, Jimmy and Terry Vidrine and Michael and Devin Landry and Kevin Allen; niece, Janet Halford; and a host of relatives and friends.
