A memorial service for Mary Esther Sherman, of Brookhaven, will be Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017, at 3 p.m. at Bethel United Methodist Church. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Sherman, 67, died Monday, Oct. 9, 2017, in Jackson. She was born Feb. 3, 1950, to J.O. and Maguerite Wallace Warren. She was a Vietnam Veteran and proudly served in the United States Navy.

She is preceded in death by her infant son, Warren Sherman; parents; and brother, Robert Lee Warren.

Survivors are her sons, Richard Kenneth Sherman of California and James Overton Sherman of Brookhaven; brothers, Jesse Warren and wife Mavis, Larry Warren and wife Lynn, and John Warren; sister, Alma Laird and husband James; and grandchildren, Zackery George Sherman and Lilanna Lee Sherman.
