A memorial service for Kenneth Carlisle, of Texas, will be Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Victory Baptist Church in Brookhaven.

Mr. Carlisle, 83, died Monday, Oct. 9, 2017. He was born Nov. 15, 1933. He was born in Texas and remained a Texan wherever he lived. His story-telling was always enthralling and always ended in a loud laugh. He was many things to people, but to his children he was simply Dad.

Survivors are his children, Margaret Ann Lowery and Emmet, Ruth Griffin, Kenny Carlisle and Shirley, Jeff Carlisle and Jill, and Kati Carlisle; sister, Theda Brister; and many other relatives.
