Funeral services for Mary Louise Kimble, of Brookhaven, are Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017, at noon at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints (Red Star Ward) with burial to follow in the Red Star Church Cemetery in Brookhaven. Bishop Bruce Britt will officiate the services. Brookhaven Funeral Home in Brookhaven is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017, from 10 a.m. time of service at the service.

Mrs. Kimble, 99, died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017, at Merit Health River Region Hospital in Vicksburg with her loving family by her side. She was born March 6, 1918, in Copiah County, to Fred J. Marble and Mary Strong Marble. She retired from Stahl Urban Garment Factory in Brookhaven where she worked for over 30 years. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at the Red Star Ward. She loved her family, church, quilting and working in her flowerbeds and yard. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Fred J. and Mary Marble; husband of 66 years Alfred Kimble Sr.; sons, Alfred Kimble Jr. and Fred “Hap” Kimble; sister, Nell Markle; and brothers, Leo Marble, Dampeer Marble, Billy Marble and Jay Marble.

Survivors are her son, Edwin Earl Kimble and wife Jean, of Vicksburg; daughter-in-law, Deola Kimble, of Brookhaven; grandchildren, Kathy Franklin and husband Mark, Amy Martin and husband Jim, Nancy Kimble, Sammy Kimble and wife Anna, and Steven Kimble and wife Shana; 14 great- grandchildren; two great -great-grandchildren; sister, Carmen Lewis; brother, Haley Marble; and a host of family and friends.
