Highway Patrol responded to 5 vehicle accidents in Lincoln County over the weekend; area reports

Fire reports

The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to stove fire at 10:15 a.m. Friday on Union Street. No injuries were reported. They also responded to a tree fallen on a structure at 4:26 p.m. Saturday on Brignal Road.

The Monticello Police Department reported no activity Friday through Sunday.

The Monticello Fire Department reported no activity Friday through Sunday.

The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department reported no activity Friday through Sunday.

Copiah County reports

The Wesson Police Department reported no activity Friday through Sunday.

The Copiah County Sheriff’s Department reported no activity Friday through Sunday.

The Wesson Volunteer Fire Department reports were not available Friday through Sunday.

Highway Patrol report

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M reports for Friday through Sunday were as follows:

• On Friday, a single vehicle accident on Hwy. 583 South at 11:38 a.m., no injuries were reported.

• On Saturday, a single vehicle accident on I-55 south bound near MM 30 at 7:52 a.m., no injuries were reported.

• On Saturday, a single vehicle accident on Hwy. 84 West at 4:08 p.m., no injuries were reported.

• On Saturday, a motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles on I-55 south bound near MM 43 at 11:41 p.m., no injuries were reported.

• On Sunday, a single vehicle accident at Bogue Chitto School at 10:12 p.m., no injuries were reported.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 61 calls Friday through Sunday. Sixteen were transfers, with 10 to Jackson, two to Pike County and four in the city. There were 45 emergency calls; 32 medical, with 20 in the city and 12 in the county; 10 traumas, with three in the city and seven in the county; three motor vehicle accidents in the county.
