Fire reports
The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to a smoking washing machine at 7:04 a.m. Monday on North Jackson Street. No injuries were reported. They also responded to a smoke scare with no injuries at 1:30 p.m. Monday on Mason Road.
Monticello reports
The Monticello Police Department reported no activity Monday.
The Monticello Fire Department responded to a medical call at 9:25 a.m. Monday. No further details were given. They also responded to a medical call at 4:55 p.m. No further details were given.
The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department reported no activity Monday.
Copiah County reports
The Wesson Police Department responded to one instance of speeding and one instance of improper equipment Monday. They also reported one arrest for possession of marijuana Monday.

Highway Patrol report
Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to a single vehicle accident without injuries at 8:20 p.m. Monday on Hwy. 84.
KDMC Ambulance report
King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 19 calls Monday. Seven were transfers, with three to Jackson, one to McComb, one to Meridian, one in the city and one in the county. There were 12 emergency calls; 11 medical, with 10 in the city and one in the county; one MVA in the county.
