Highway Patrol responds to two accidents in Lincoln County over the weekend; area reports

Fire reports

The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to an electrical fire at 3:56 p.m. Friday on Mary Street. No injuries were reported. They also responded to an electrical fire at 11:40 p.m. Friday on Hwy. 51. They provided public assistance at 7:39 p.m. Saturday on Pine Street.

The Monticello Fire Department reported no activity Friday through Sunday.

The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department reported no activity Friday through Sunday.

The Wesson Police Department reported no activity Friday through Sunday.

The Copiah County Sheriff’s Department reported no activity Friday through Sunday.

The Wesson Volunteer Fire Department reported no activity Friday through Sunday.

Highway Patrol report

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to a single vehicle accident with injuries at 5:23 a.m. Saturday on Hwy. 51. They responded to an accident involving two vehicles at 11:18 p.m. Friday on I-55 near mile marker 42. No injuries were reported.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 61 calls Friday through Sunday. Eighteen were transfers, with 13 to Jackson, three to Pike County, one to Copiah County and one in the city. There were 43 emergency calls; 43 medical, with 20 in the city and 13 in the county; three traumas in the city; seven MVAs, with six in the city and one in the county.
