Funeral services for Elroy Warren, of Brookhaven, formerly of Picayune, are Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, at 2 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery, Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017, at 2 p.m. under the direction of Riverwood Family Funeral Services in Brookhaven. Local arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, from noon until time of service at the funeral home.

Mr. Warren, 83, died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017. He was a native of Pearl River County. He served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Estes. He was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan Thomas Warren Jr. and Sarah Elizabeth Spiers Warren; wife of 56 years, Yvonne Deer Warren; daughter, Amy Warren; and his sister, Gwen Warren (George) Seal.

Survivors are his children, Randall (Christine) Warren and Kathy (Dean) Sanders; four grandchildren, Nathan (Rebecca) Warren, Kayla (Justin) Chafin, Matthew Sanders, and Kim (Ray) Lubke; five great-grandchildren, Elijah Warren, Rosemary Warren, Aimee’ Lubke, Presleigh Lubke, and Joseph Lubke; sister, Carol (Alvin) Dillard; and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
