According to media reports, the Mississippi State Bulldogs have chosen a new head football coach — Joe Moorhead.

Moorhead currently is the offensive coordinator at Penn State. However,  College Football Insider Brett McMurphy wrote that the coach is now headed to Starkville.

The deal is expected to be completed in the next few days, according to McMurphy.

MSU’s former football coach, Dan Mullen, became head coach at the University of Florida over the Thanksgiving weekend.
