Funeral services for Jessie “Sonny” Oliver, of Brookhaven, are Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Sweet Home Freewill Baptist Church in Summit with burial at Siloam Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Charlie Reed Jr. will officiate the service.

Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, from 9 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Mr. Oliver, 70, died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2017. He was a retired combat veteran and a recipient of the Purple Heart.
