Funeral services for Lois Nadine Williams Chisholm, of Brookhaven, are Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) with burial at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Brookhaven. Bro. Chad Yarborough will officiate the services.

Visitation will be today, Dec. 6, 2017, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home and will continue Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017, from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Chisholm, 89, died Monday, Dec. 4, 2017, at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born Feb. 5, 1928, in Stonewall, Oklahoma, to Ira W. and Winnie Jennings Shepherd. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She worked for many years as a hotel housekeeper supervisor in the oilfield industry and she enjoyed gospel singings, the Golden Oldies Group, the Ladies Birthday Club and spending time with family and friends. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Danny Chisholm; son, Freddie Ray Hannah; daughters, Mickie Temple and Barbara Williams; son-in-law, Jimmy Powell; great-great-grandson, Fisher Martin; three sisters; and three brothers.

Survivors are her sons, Maxie Williams and wife Sandra, of Brookhaven, and Chucky Williams, of Brookhaven; daughter, Annette Perkins Powell, of Vidalia, Louisiana; sister, Margaret Sutton, of Eupora; sister-in-law, Lou Shepherd, of Houston; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; special friends, Irene Lofton, Tami Womack, and Jennie Rollins; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Shane Hannah, Randy Hannah, Scott Williams, Shaun Perkins, Chris Williams and Jeremy Hannah.

Honorary pallbearers are Jamie Perkins and David Hugh Williams.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Hospice Ministries.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Chisholm’s name may be made to Friendship Baptist Church Building Fund or the American Cancer Society.
