Lawrence County sheriff’s investigators questioned a man Wednesday in connection with the murder of a Silver Creek woman, Sheriff Lessie Butler said.

However, no arrests have been made.

Coroner Sandra Lambert identified the victim as Cheryl Trosclair, 54. She was found dead in her home on Billy Davis Road in Silver Creek. Butler described the location as the Arm community.

Lambert said she had been shot multiple times and her injuries included a laceration.

Trosclair was killed sometime between midnight and 5 a.m. Wednesday, Lambert said.

Butler said the death is not related to the homicide involving Henry Peavey on Frog Ridge Road Tuesday.
