It was a case of Truth or Dare without the truth.

Brookhaven police were called to several businesses the week before Christmas and all the reports were of broken windows, said Capt. Clint Earls.

Vandalism was reported at Guy’s Pharmacy, O’Reilly Auto Parts and Brookhaven Honda repair department.

Earls said investigators obtained video surveillance recently and were able to make four arrests in the case. Three juveniles were charged with malicious mischief through Lincoln County Youth Court. The young adult, who was not named by police, was charge with misdemeanor malicious mischief.

He said the juveniles dared each other to knock out windows with rocks.

Brookhaven Police Department will seek restitution on behalf of the businesses, Earls said.
