Funeral services for Nellie Moore St. Clair, of Bogue Chitto, are Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven with burial at Stewart Cemetery. Bro. Doug Kimble and Bro. Wendell Davis will officiate.

Visitation will be today, Jan. 3, 2018, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home and will continue Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, from 1 p.m. until time of service.

Mrs. Nellie, 84, and a resident of Bogue Chitto, died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017. She was born Sept. 1, 1933, to Katherine Richardson and William “Bill” Rippy and was a member of Johnson Grove Church of Christ. Nellie enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening and visiting with her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren always held a very special place in her heart.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Alvin Moore and Jack St. Clair; brothers, Billy Joe Rippy, Jessie “Jakie” Rippy, Roger Rippy; and sons-in-law, Tommy Lewis and Steve Foster.

Survivors are her daughter, Mary Lewis Foster; sister, Texie Wallace; grandchildren, Melissa Lewis Thompson and husband Johnny, David Lewis and fiancé Tina Sears and Joanna Lewis Graham and husband Bill; beloved great-grandsons, Brady and Chase Thompson, Calem Graves and Parker Graham; and a host of nieces and nephews.
