The family of a man last seen in Heucks Retreat are concerned for his well-being.
Lincoln County Sheriff Steve Rushing said sheriff’s investigators are looking for information into the whereabouts of Sherman Lee McCall.
Rushing said McCall, 65, lives with various friends and family and doesn’t own a car or cell phone.
He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a dark blue jacket around the 1300 block of Heucks Retreat Road about four weeks ago.
Family members told investigators that it unusual for McCall to be gone this long without talking to someone in the family.
“They don’t see him regularly, but they said he never stays gone so long,” Rushing said.
McCall is a black man, 5-foot-5 and 165 pounds.
He usually walks or catches rides, Rushing said. He’s asking that if anyone gave McCall a ride in the last month or knows where he is located, call the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office at 601-833-5231.
Investigators are not suspecting foul play at this time.
