Monticello Fire Department responds to a vehicle accident with injuries; area reports

Monticello reports

The Monticello Fire Department responded to a vehicle accident at 10:52 p.m. Saturday on Hwy. 27. Injuries were reported. They also responded to a vehicle accident at 10:54 p.m. Saturday on Trace Road. No injuries were reported. They responded to a medical call at 8:26 a.m. Sunday on F.E. Sellers Highway. They also responded to a medical call at 6 p.m. Sunday on F.E. Sellers Highway.

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to an accident involving two vehicles at 10:45 a.m. Friday on Hwy. 84. Injuries were reported. They also responded to a single vehicle accident without injuries at 3:09 p.m. Friday on I-55.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 40 calls Friday through Sunday. Ten were transfers, with four to Jackson, five to Pike County and one to New Orleans. There were 30 emergency calls; 16 medical, with 10 in the city and six in the county; Three traumas, with one in the city and two in the county; 10 MVAs, with two in the city and eight in the county; and one cardiac in the county.
