Monticello reports

The Monticello Fire Department reported a structure fire at 6:10 p.m. Tuesday at a duplex at 11 Old Hwy. 84. The fire was mostly in Apartment A with some damage in Apartment B. Both were occupied at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported. Monticello Fire Department was assisted by Lawrence County VFD.

Copiah County reports

The Wesson Police Department received a report of a theft of medication Wednesday.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 13 calls Wednesday. Six were transfers, with one in the city and five to Jackson. There were seven emergency medical calls with six in the city and one in the county.
