James ‘Jack’ Fletcher Robinson

A funeral mass for James “Jack” Fletcher Robinson, of Moss Point, will be Saturday, March 24, 2018, at 11 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Brookhaven with burial at Rosemont Gardens Memorial Park in Jackson. Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.    

Visitation will be Friday, March 23, 2018, from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Robinson, 91, died Sunday, March 18, 2018.  He was born Sept. 5, 1926, in Montgomery, Alabama, to Charles Fletcher Robinson and Alma McDowell Robinson. He served his country during WWII in the United States Navy in the Pacific on Landing Ship Tank 825. He was a retired insurance executive. He founded and owned Protective Service Life Insurance Co.

Preceding him in death were his parents; sister, Margaret Foldager; daughter, Emelyn Robinson Iverson; and wife, Carolyn J. Robinson.

Survivors are his sons, John C. Robinson and wife Carolyn, Jimmy P. Robinson and wife Kay, David M. Robinson and wife, Ellen; daughters, Margaret R Lauro and husband Jimmy, Carolyn R. Hillman and husband Byrd; and Rosemary Aldridge and husband Jeff; sister, Mary Charles Lax; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
