BHS track and field rack up awards
The Brookhaven High track and field teams competed recently in the Bianca Knight Races, held at Ridgeland High School.
Several students placed in the top three in their competitions: Myiah Miller won first in the 1600M run and second in the 800M; Carlie Craige finished second in the 1600M; Baily Pounds got first in the 3200M; Emmaline Wolfe won second in the 3200M; Ayanna McNairy won first place in the triple jump and second in the long jump; Ah’Menya Rancifer won first in both the shot put and discus throw; Keith Robinson won third in the 100M; Adrian Lockwood won first in the 800M; Jacob Britt finished third in both the 1600M and 3200M; and Andrew Knott finished first in both the 1600M and 3200M.
