The No. 19 Co-Lin Wolfpack defeated No. 22 Wallace State Community College 5-4 at East Central Community College in Decatur.

“Two of three doubles wins were picked up by the men,” said Co-Lin tennis coach Brenda Smith. “Then Sebastian and Juan Pablo won in straight sets needing a tiebreaker in the first set. The match was clinched by a great effort by Tripp Case. We may have been ranked higher than them, but we were missing our No. 3 and No. 5, so this was tough.”

In doubles action, the Wolfpack picked up wins as Sebastian Osorio and Juan Pablo Pinilla beat Cade Pressnell and Luke Chigwidden 8-3 at No. 1, and Tripp Case and Tripp Wyatt got the win at No. 3 by defeating Check Freeman and Austin Leavins 8-4.
