Funeral services for Nelda Thetford Kenney, of Brookhaven, are Sunday, April 29, 2018, at 3 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven with burial at Easthaven Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 29, 2018, from 1 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Kenney, 92, died Thursday, April 26, 2018. She was born May 2, 1925, to the late Hugh and Mary Lou Thetford. She was a member of the Jackson Street United Methodist Church. She loved sewing, crafting and reading.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Donald Kenney; brothers, Paul and Ralph Thetford; and a baby sister.

Survivors are her son, Gerald Raymond Kenney; daughters, Donna Kenney and Nancy Damico; sister-in-law, Fran Thetford, of Midland, Texas; two grandchildren, Paul Benjamin Paxton Jr., and wife, Patricia, of Purvis, and Carl Eugene Terry, of Phoenix, Arizona; numerous great-grandchildren; Veronica Kenney and Dr. Chris Link, of Concord, Massachusetts; Carolyn and Jimmy Brumfield, of Texas, and Marolyn and Mike George, of Greenville.
