A memorial service for Annie Bell Smith, of Brookhaven will be Friday, May 18, 2018, at 10 a.m. at New Salem Church of Christ.  Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Smith, 91, died Sunday, May 13, 2018. She was born Oct. 26, 1926, to the late, John Ira Watts and Eula Nettles Watts. She was a homemaker and a member of New Salem Church of Christ.

Preceding her in death was her parents; husband, L. Harold Smith; brothers, Bobbie and Donald Watts; and sisters, Mary Boswell and Gloria Nations.

Survivors are her son, Dwight H. Smith and wife, Caron; daughter, Sylvia Ann Nations; brothers, Johnny Watts and Glen Watts; sister, Margaret Smith; five grandchildren, Christi (David) Purcell, Daniel (Becky) Smith, Royce Nations, Rita (Donald) Nobles and Rodney (Rowen) Nations; 10 great-grandchildren; and seven great- great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the New Salem Church of Christ Cemetery Fund, 2043 California Rd NW, Brookhaven 39601.
