JACKSON — The National Weather Service in Jackson is reporting a chance of severe weather for Southwest and South Central Mississippi. Isolated severe storms could move into the Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi Delta late this evening through early tonight. Damaging wind gusts and small hail will be possible with this activity.

The weather service issued a hazardous weather outlook for portions of south central Mississippi, including Lincoln County.
and southeast Mississippi.

Warmer than normal temperatures are expected again tonight.
