The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to a washing machine fire at 10:23 a.m. on North Jackson Street. No injuries were reported.

Highway Patrol report

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to a single vehicle accident with injuries on Hwy. 27 Friday. They responded to a single vehicle accident without injuries at 5:20 a.m. Saturday on I-55 southbound near mile marker 38. They responded to a two-vehicle accident without injuries at 1:22 p..m.  Sunday on Forest Grove Road.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 58 calls Friday-Sunday. Seventeen were transfers, with one to the city, one to the county, 13 to Jackson, one to Pike County, and one to Walthall County. There were 41 emergency calls; 24 medical, with six in the city and eight in the county; 13 traumas, with eight in the city and five in the county; four MVAs, with two in the city and two in the county.
