Funeral services for Mary Belle “Lu” Wallace, of Bogue Chitto, are Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven with burial at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be today June 5, 2018, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home and will continue Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at 1 p.m.

Mrs. Wallace, 67, died Sunday, June 3, 2018. She was born Oct. 16, 1950, in Baltimore, Maryland. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed by those she loved. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Mitchell Lee Wallace; parents, Marvin “Buck” Adams and Betty Lee Adams; son, Nathan Carl Wallace; and infant grandchild.

Survivors are her son, Vinson Lee Wallace (Erica); daughter, Lorraine Wallace; daughter-in-law, Chrissy Wallace Pike; brothers, Marvin Adams and Stevie Adams; sisters, Betty Moak, Donna Adams and Tina Adams Goldbaum; eight grandchildren, Nicholas Waxley, Dustin Waxley (Ashley), Alyssa Waxley, Russell Wallace, Rhett Wallace, Georgia Pike, Josie Wallace and Gracie Wallace; three great-grandchildren, Kayson Waxley, Kimberly Smith and Ryleigh Smith; numerous nieces and nephews; and other loving family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, 1871 Pleasant Valley Road, Meadville, MS 39653.
