Funeral services for Jacob Evans Jr., of Monticello, are Saturday, June 9, 2018, at 3 p.m. at Friendship M.B. Church in Monticello with burial at the church cemetery. Williams Mortuary in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Friday, June 8, 2018, from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Evans, 75, died Friday, June 1, 2018, at his residence. He was born Feb. 1, 1943, to Jacob Evans Sr. and Fannie Brown Evans.
