The Brookhaven Board of Aldermen will meet with four trash collection and disposal companies today at 6 p.m. at the city board room in the Lincoln County-Brookhaven Government Complex.

Representatives from Arrow Disposal Services, Metro Services, Waste Management and Waste Pro will be available for a question and answer session with aldermen.

Waste Management and Riverbend Environmental Services will also meet with the board about the city’s transfer station.

Request for proposals (RFPs) were taken May 1 for both trash collection and disposal and the transfer station. Those who submitted proposals will meet with aldermen tonight at a public meeting.
