Where is the justice?

When an innocent mother (Bridget Hall) of four is gunned down in the privacy of her home on July 6, 2015, in front of her children, by cowards and no one has been convicted nor an arrest made pertaining to her murder — where is the justice?

When the police are still playing cat and mouse with one of the suspects and the residents are helping in hiding the suspect — where is the justice?

When another suspect is walking around enjoying her life — where is the justice?

When the actual targeted person has moved on with life — where is the justice?

When those elected to investigate failed tremendously — where is the justice?

When the family is still grieving and waiting for closure but to no avail, nothing — where is the justice?

When the criminals have more protection than the victim — where is the justice?

When the media/community no longer mentions Bridget’s name and has moved on to current events — where is the justice?

When some in the community want us to be silent or “leave it alone,” we say to you — where is the justice?

When the scriptures have been read, songs sung, tears shed and the body deposited into the ground — where is the justice?

According to Proverbs 21:15, “It is joy to the just to do judgment but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.”   Knowing that God is going to deliver justice in due season brings peace in trying times. For those who think they have gotten away with the murder of Bridget Hall, “Destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.”

July 6 will be three years since Bridget’s murder. We are still seeking justice that is due Bridget and her children. If anyone has any new or old information contact Brookhaven Police Department at 601-833-2424.
