Funeral services for Gerald Kenneth Smith, of Jackson, are Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018, at 10 a.m. at Friendship Baptist Church with burial at the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018, from 9 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Mr. Smith, 86, died Monday, Aug. 6, 2018. He was born Nov. 11, 1931, to the late Percy D. Smith and Rosey Vaughn Smith. He served in the United States Air Force and retired as a Master Sergeant and aircraft mechanic. He was a member of the Leavell Wood Lodge #620 of the Masonic Order and the American Legion. He was also a member of Alta Woods Baptist Church in Jackson.

Preceding him in death were his parent.

Survivors are his wife Lenora Smith; son, Keith Smith; daughter, Lynn Booth; three grandchildren, Carey and Shelly Booth and Chelsey Sanders; stepdaughters, Christy Davis, Kellie Klotz Broussard; and stepgrandchildren, Ava Broussard and Anna Davis.
