Dispositions: Charges dismissed, remanded, reduced

Lincoln County Circuit Court dispositions for July were:

• Zacchaeus Montgomery’s charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana that were filed April 2014 were dismissed July 31 by Judge Michael Taylor.

• Henry Cheramie’s charges of first and second degree arson that were filed March 2017 were ordered to be remanded to file pending successful completion of a program with the White Dove Fellowship Civic Outreach Center July 17 by Judge David Strong.

• Henry Cheramie’s charge of possession of at least one-tenth but less than two grams of methamphetamine filed April 2017  was ordered remanded to file pending successful completion of a program with the White Dove Fellowship Civic Outreach Center July 17 by Judge David Strong.

• Victor Cook’s charge of felonious bad check filed June 2001 was reduced to misdemeanor bad check June 13 after the defendant paid all money owed to the District Attorney’s Bad Check Unit and all fines and court costs associated with the charge. The case was dismissed July 18 by Judge David Strong.

• Betty S. Haney’s charge of felonious bad check filed January 2001 was reduced to misdemeanor bad check June 13 after the defendant paid all money owed to the District Attorney’s Bad Check Unit and all fines and court costs associated with the charge. The defendant pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor July 26.
