In the third quarter McLaurin took their first lead at 12-8 and added an insurance score in the fourth quarter to give them their final margin of victory.

Bobcat head coach Gareth Sartin found no fault in the effort of his Bobcats. He just wants to see an improvement in execution.

“We played hard, just gave up a couple of big plays in the second half on defense,” said Sartin. “Offensively we have to finish drives. We had chances to score in the second half and just didn’t get in the end zone. The kids played hard and we will learn from this game and get better and ready to go next week.”

Next week the Bobcats travel to Mobile, Alabama, to take on Faith Academy.
