Fire reports

The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to a one-vehicle fatal crash on I-55 at mile marker 39 on Saturday at 5:35 a.m. They also responded to a false alarm at 101 Mill St. at 4:24 p.m. On Sunday, firefighters responded at 8:49 a.m. to 800 Magee Drive to assist KDMC with a patient. They also responded to a gas leak at 212 North First St. at 6:36 p.m.

Highway Patrol report

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to a two-vehicle wreck without injuries on Hwy. 550 at Loyd Star Friday at 2:15 p.m. On Saturday at 5:35 a.m., troopers responded to a one-vehicle fatal crash on I-55 at mile marker 39.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 58 calls Friday-Sunday. Twenty were transfers, with four in the city, one to Pike County, one to Hattiesburg and 14 to Jackson. There were 38 emergency calls; 32 medical, with 21 in the city and 11 in the county; two traumas, with one in the city and one in the county; two MVAs in the county; and two cardiac calls, one in the city and one in the county.
