Funeral services for Patricia Halford, of Meadville, are Sunday, Sept. 2, 2018, at 1 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven with burial at Midway Cemetery in Meadville.

Visitation will be today, Sept. 1, 2018, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Halford, 76, died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2018, at her residence. She was born May 2, 1942, to the late Carl Smith and Agnes Huffman Smith. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Franklin County. She enjoyed crocheting in her free time, making lap blankets for nursing homes and crochet hats for chemo patients. She was employed with the Magnolia Garment Factory as a supervisor.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Kirby Halford; parents; and brother, Elbert Leroy Smith.

Survivors are her two sisters-in-law, Elouise Dewees and Pat Smith; a number of nieces and nephews; and a special friend and neighbor she considered her honorary son, Mike Nash.
